Delete your FinLedger account

You can permanently delete your account and its data yourself, at any time, from the app or the website.

In the mobile app

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
  3. Enter your password (if your account has one), type DELETE and confirm.

On the website

  1. Sign in at www.finledger.co.in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Choose Delete my account, enter your password (if your account has one), type DELETE and confirm.

What gets deleted

Straight away and permanently:

  • your profile and sign-in details
  • accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, goals and recurring bills
  • notification registrations, Telegram link, API keys, webhooks and advisor share links
  • your activity history
  • groups that only you could see, with their expenses

Shared groups: expenses and settlements in groups with other registered members are kept so their balances stay correct, but your name is replaced with “Deleted user” and your email and phone are removed. If you owned the group, ownership passes to another member. Server logs expire within about 14 days.

Want a copy first? Export your data from Settings → Data before deleting. Deletion can't be undone.

Can't sign in?

Email dharmapra865@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my FinLedger account”. We'll confirm the request and delete the account and data described above.
